One Pill Never Cures All

This concept keeps going over and over in my mind.

We live with things such as anxiety, stress and depression and yet we have a smallish selection of medications to support all the 25 million of people who are taking them. And the numbers of depressed medicated people continue to rise.

In Australia we have 6 million people on high blood pressure medication, with over 1,000 people dying each day in the US from heart attack. Again they are on a handful of medication, different brands offering the same promises.

Are these people ever taught or even shown any other methods and ways that do not involve medication?

Statistics for meditation and dropping heart rate are amazing. Nearly one quarter of people come off their meds after 3 months of meditating. Would you not try that, or would you rather pop a pill?

There are so many alternative solutions and the evangelist in me likes to speak out about this.

Our health system is not sustainable. Deaths, death from medications, drug use, vaccinations, toxic food, toxic environments are all on the increase and this will kill us off in the end. Sorry to say it how it is.

Having a one pill to one problem will never work and I will tell you why.

We are all unique people.

We are individuals with differing constitutions, that comes from different backgrounds with our own unique experiences and combinations of values and gifts amongst our many differing aspects. For this writing I will share about gifts and values to see if I can shed more light.

I want to talk about gifts first. I discovered my gifts only a few years back, even though I had inkling it could be writing and teaching. This was confirmed for me and they are my primary gifts.

Evangelism was interesting and I soon embraced that. This is why I love teaching and sharing my vast knowledge that I have been accumulating sometimes crazily in my life. I do love to preach, give me an audience and a topic and off I go.

My other primary gift is social integration and I feel this deep in my soul. I bring cultures together and have lived in many countries over the years and have always found a sense of being at home.

There are many gifts, so there are many combinations at what we shine most at. This is what makes life beautiful and interesting. When we live according to our gifts we are doing things that we do not have to push to do, we are doing what we feel inspired to do. Now add values into the mix.

My values are family, spiritual and business. Now these come also in their combinations and varying degrees.

My children have different values, so what is important to them is not necessarily important to me. When we know and understand our values we are able to connect better with others, as we can learn and watch what lights them up inside.

I know it is important for my son to spend time with his mates, because mates are important to him. His value is social. He knows when I say ‘family dinner’, I mean ‘family dinner’ and not dinner. He knows my value is family and I have shared that will all my family. We understand each other’s values when we know what they are.

So can how can 1 pill fit one group of people?

It can and never will. What will work is an individualised approach for the individual.

The pill is the exploration of the self, the processing of that which is not serving you, it is working the bugs out of your triggers, its opening your heart to joy, its gratitude and liking who you truly are and what you have to share.

The pill is stepping into your divine sovereignty and loving every moment of it.

This is where I am at and it continues to grow and expand for me. This is why I created The Expansion Project™. My mission is to raise the consciousness of the planet so happier people do nicer things. I have just achieved that right now.

I love teaching and educating others to help empower them to make their own informed decisions and proactive choices. I look to furthering my journey to expand by teaching overseas and to share my light to larger audiences, enabling me to expand my writings, publishing and sharing.

My passions are travel, adventure, books, learning new concepts, empowering others and laughing with my family. I love seeing the light being turned on inside people, and seeing them ‘light up’ as they wake up to the real world. I have spent many years walking amongst and being the living dead and now it is time to WAKE UP and BE ALIVE.
