Can Your Emotions Change your Physical Health?
There have been many authors like Deepak Chopra, Louise Hay, Lynne McTaggart, Greg Brayden, Bruce Lipton and Annette Noontil who have linked the body mind connection together and there are many more out there.
And yet some of us still resist and choose to wear our condition, label and to own our disease.
There will come a time when we will know that we are energetic beings and we create our lives, our health and our wellbeing and that we have the power to create, change or be whatever we want to be. That day is coming closer and closer every day.
More and more studies are showing that we are not victims of our circumstances or even of our genetic lines. We create our pain and our pain is talking to us and sharing its own story. This is why people who suffer with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder are at a higher risk of living with or experiencing chronic pain.
Once you are in a situation where you can see chronic disease conditions disappear in seconds, it changes the belief systems in your mind and yes, miracles do and can happen. How amazing would it be, if the majority of the population believed in this too? If we realised that we could eliminate cancer in minutes, heal surfaces in seconds and mend bones in moments. This is a reality we can have, the question is are we ready for it?
We are able to grasp our heads around the fact that when we are stressed we are more prone to colds, headaches and stomach aches, so why not chronic disease?
We know that when we are more stressed our muscles tighten, and then become tenser and they fatigue much easier and faster. How we perceive things in our lives can give us this idea of stress or a perceived threat and it can also give us the opposite thoughts and beliefs.
Is not a belief a continual thought pattern that we keep having? We think something long enough, it becomes a belief.
And where do these thought patterns come from?
So it then makes sense to me that if we have certain beliefs, then we will be thinking the same patterns of thoughts. We keep thinking these thoughts over and over and they will have to express themselves on our physical form sooner or later.
When we experience trauma we go into survival mode. For some of us we can never get out of this mode and our survival switch can stay turned on. We continually then release stress hormones which increase blood pressure and blood sugars and then depletes the immune function. This all makes perfect sense. We know this all happens physiologically.
If we have experiences that put us into survival mode at a young age or on more than one occasion, our cells can store these memories, keeping them locked up as to speak. This can then change how we then choose to react to future stress and in certain situations. People can feel they are reliving the entire trauma all over again.
It is this that is real and can keep playing out in our present life. This is the past that haunts our present.
It is for this reason that emotional, mental and physical therapies, either combined in one session or used in separate occasions will help to address the cells stored memories and stories.
