Somewhere within our minds we have next week already planned out, even though we may not be conscious of it.
As we put our energy into our thoughts, we are putting energy into what our thoughts will manifest and our future. Our words and thoughts help bring our tomorrow closer to us. Our thoughts of today are our actions of tomorrow.
You are the creator of your reality, the centre of your universe and you have the free will to make or and change it as you wish. This is the greatest asset in your life. When you truly apply this free will, you are able to change circumstances, events, outcomes, directions and even the happenings in your life.
Look closely at your very thoughts, words and actions because they show you where you are and at this precise second in time. It is for this very reason that it is important that you have truth and integrity in the words that you chose, as believe it or not in life we get what we want or ask for and we get what we don’t want or ask for.
Start to be more aware about the words and terminology that you use. This might slow down your entire thought and speaking process. This is a good thing as it brings you into s state of mindfulness. Over a period of time, you can start to retrain your mind and thought patterns and you can create new positive ones.
Let’s give an example. Let us say hypothetically that someone keeps having the thought ‘I am ill.’
Instead of keeping on having the thoughts, ‘I am ill,’ it is good to change those bring illness and does not bring good health, it is not serving the higher purpose in manifesting a happy and healthy life.
Change the words to ‘I am healthier day by day,’ and keep being mindful of what you are saying or thinking and change the old thought pattern every time it comes up.
It is good to change your thought patterns to something that is achievable and obtainable.
Be realistic. ‘Everyday I am happier and healthier.’ Believe it and keep believing it. Know this is your truth right down to the DNA in your cells.
If someone was to think ‘I am under pressure.’ Change that to, ‘Everyday I am lighter and freer.’ It is good to see the thought patterns in the present tense the now.
This process can take time as you have to retrain your belief system and your thought patterns. Be patient, it can take time for the reprogramming to function and settle into the sub-conscious.
Other words that you can be aware of are words like ‘should’ and ‘can’t’. These are both controlling and limiting words.
‘Could’ is a much better substitute for ‘should.’ ‘Should’ is so forceful and controlling and it takes your power away. ‘Will not’ is a better substitute for ‘can’t.’ ‘Can’t’ is very limiting. Of course, if you change your belief system then you can do whatever it is that you desire to do, though only if you have the will to do it. If you have the will to create positive change, then this is a conscious choice that you have made and it will eventuate. The matter of when, is dependent on your will power and your worthiness of bringing these positive changes into your life. Once again this is your truth.
Use the words ‘I like….’ ‘I love….’ ‘I am….’ When it comes to the negative side, instead of saying ‘I will not do that.’ Say ‘I am doing this instead’
This then replaces the negative belief system with a new positive one.
The words that we use are very subtle sometimes, yet each very word can carry a lot of meaning.
Be aware of the words and thoughts that you use. You possibly picked them up from others around you or from family and friends, yet are you aware of the thoughts and words you are saying?
The subtle changes we make to our very words and thoughts can create quite a difference in our lives.
We can change the things we say and think and in time change the situations, both on the inside and the outside of our lives.
Though remeber most of all, it is always an inside job first and what you have to change on the outside has to be changed on the inside first.
